Welcome Reception

Kick off the Mental Health Summit in style at the Welcome Reception on April 16th from 7:00- 9:00pm. Join fellow attendees for an evening of connection, conversation, and celebration as we set the stage for two inspiring days ahead. This casual, social gathering is the perfect opportunity to enjoy complimentary appetizers while meeting colleagues and making new connections. *Drink tickets available for purchase.

The evening will also include a kickoff keynote from world-renowned Dr. Rebecca Winthrop from 7:30-8:30pm.

Chapters & Cheers

Join us for Chapters & Cheers on April 17th from 7:00 - 9:00pm, featuring Spoken Word from Wakefield Brewster, a professional poet, spoken word artist, author, educator, producer, and literacy advocate, with music performed by Kenzie McGrath. This special event invites authors and summit attendees to mingle over appetizers and cocktails, celebrating the power of words, community, and connection. One complimentary drink ticket provided.

The evening will also feature an evening keynote from Kate Arthur from 7:15-8:15pm, exploring what it means to be human in the age of AI.

We’re also pleased to share that Canmore’s local Café Books will be onsite, offering authors the opportunity to have their books sold directly to attendees.

Research Poster Exhibit

As part of The International Research Forum for School Mental Health, stream of the Mental Health Summit, we will be hosting research posters and awards. The research poster session exhibit will be held on Friday, April 17th from 6:00-7:00pm, leading up to the Chapters and Cheers reception. Posters will be displayed at the venue throughout the two-day summit (April 17-18th).
